Bamboo & horse hair toothbrush Pack of 4

A fully plastic-free toothbrush (as tested by German certifier TÜV SÜD): a bamboo handle paired with soft horse hair bristles, so nothing synthetic ends up in landfill, the ocean, or worn down into microplastic in your mouth every few months. Horse hair is the softest of the natural bristle options — some brands bristle with pig (boar) hair instead, but we don't recommend it, as it's noticeably coarser and can be too abrasive on enamel and gums over time. With regular, everyday use, a Pure bristle head lasts many months before it's time to compost the lot and reach for a fresh one.

What our toothbrush doesn't include

Some of this is true simply because of what the brush is made from. The rest is independently lab-tested on the horse hair bristles by TÜV SÜD, an internationally recognised German testing and certification group, against the EU's RoHS heavy-metal limits.
